“There’s a need for a festival that affords women of any background the chance to be showcased in a truly empowering light.”

In our fifth year in the making, The Women’s Film Festival in Philadelphia has successfully celebrated women in the film and entertainment industry. From features to Q&As to various related events, we cultivated a camaraderie that began conversations, inspired change, and drew various crowds interested in giving women the recognition and representation they deserve. All of our films are created by, for, or about women and our programs are curated to highlight laughs, shivers, tears, affection, and everything in between.

Community Involvement

We maintain excellent relationships with our community members and adjacent nonprofits to stay on the pulse of what matters most.

Film Screenings

From University City to Old City, we feature full-length and short films across the city spanning a variety of genres with something for everyone.

Networking Opportunities

Receptions and parties before and after screenings let you mingle the day away with like-minded film enthusiasts and industry veterans alike.
