A young Greek woman goes to visit her mother in a mental health facility. The mother is wearing the traditional black of mourning but the daughter opens her closet to bring out her old colorful clothes and they do a sewing project that helps them connect.

Her storytelling and creative focus centers on stories about mental health stigma within ethnic communities; particularly its effect on families.
