Director/Writer
Nina Noël Raaijmakers (25, based in Rotterdam) graduated in 2022 as a screenwriter and director with the body horror film ‘My Mother the Atomic Bomb’ which was selected to the student competition from the Dutch Film Festival.
Fascinated by the human body, Nina combines her beloved genre body horror with social themes such as feminism and female body integrity in order to press her finger on society’s sore spots.
In 2022 she started developing short film FEMME with production company Make Way Film, a film about rape culture in student fraternities and sororities, this film will be finished in the summer of 2024.
