After months of suspicion, Fiona follows her husband to a seedy motel and confronts Liza, the sex worker he’s seeing. Accepting an invitation from Liza to enter the motel room, Fiona learns that her husband goes there to talk about their dead daughter. This short film is directed by Finola Hughes from “General Hospital”.

Finola Hughes

Finola graduated from the Arts Educational School in London in 1979. She has been performing in both television and on stage since age 11. After being a part of the original cast of Andre Lloyd Webber’s ‘Cats’ and ‘Song and Dance,’ she moved to the U.S. to co-star in Sylvestor Stallone’s ‘Stayin Alive’ with John Travolta. She joined the soap ‘General Hospital’ in 1985, earning an Emmy in 1991 with multiple nominations following. In 2013, she directed her first feature film, ‘The Bet.’ The low budget film was successfully entered in festivals. It won Best Feature at LAFEMME Film Festival. She has since directed several short films. She also directed an episode of ‘Good Trouble’ on Freeform in 2019. She is an adjunct professor at USC School of Dramatic Arts.
