Bonnie Gross
Executive Producer/Writer
Bonnie Gross is an award-winning comedy writer, producer, and post-production pro who’s never met a taboo topic she couldn’t turn into a smart, comical, and relatable story. She has a passion for telling authentic stories that focus on the realities of living with chronic vulvovaginal and pelvic pain, which she believes deserve far more screen time.
Originally from Philadelphia and now based in New York City, Bonnie earned her B.A. in Media Production from the University of Alabama and completed the UCLA Professional Program in TV Comedy Writing in 2018. Her most recent film Lady Parts is an autobiographical comedy inspired by her own experience navigating the vulvovaginal health care world, which earned the Special Jury Award for Screenwriting at the Florida Film Festival and the Jury Award for Best Comedy Feature at the Austin Film Festival.
Bonnie has worked for several years in post-production at Encore Hollywood and Light Iron, working on an array of television shows and films. She now co-owns Brainwomb, a boutique finishing house in NYC where she partners with filmmakers to shape their stories at every stage of the post-production process
She has also written, produced, and edited comedic content for the media brand It’s a Southern Thing, and regularly creates her own offbeat comedy videos for social media. In addition to her creative work, Bonnie serves as the social media manager and a campaign team volunteer for Tight Lipped, a grassroots advocacy organization by and for people with chronic vulvovaginal and pelvic pain.
At the heart of Bonnie’s work is a simple goal: to make people feel seen, understood, and maybe laugh at a speculum joke along the way.

When she’s not working, Edith spends most of her time obsessing over her pup/AE Muni, collecting tattoos, and drinking too much coffee.

Nancy Boyd
Director
Nancy Boyd was raised in a small town in Michigan. During her college career at Madonna University, she studied both film and music. Always eager to direct music videos and short films, her work earned her 19 nominations at 7 Student Production Awards from the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences. She has also had the opportunity to be the set photographer for three feature films and two seasons of the internationally syndicated television show, The Dr. Nandi Show.
In her senior year, she wrote and directed her first feature film, Married on a Monday (2017). Throughout the experience, she fell head over heels for directing. After graduation, she continued to direct music videos professionally and continue to work on indie features and television sets in Michigan.
She moved to Los Angeles to pursue an MFA in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California, which she received in 2023. Before the age of 30 she will have directed three indie features. Nancy took on the role of directing Lady Parts after struggling on her own health journey with a vulvovaginal disorder. It went on to win the Comedy Vanguard Award at Austin Film Festival and the Audience Award at 3 separate festivals! She wishes to continue to make films centered around women accepting all the parts of themselves, especially the parts society isn’t ready to accept.
